Fifth Group Restaurants
Director of Marketing

Michael executes the marketing activities for the seven restaurants, the catering and design companies and Fifth Group Restaurants. Michael’s first job at 16 as the fry guy at the local burger joint coupled with his Italian heritage rich in homemade tomato sauce, wine, pasta and meatballs, set him on a course that would often mix business with food. Before coming to his current position, his 15-year background in account management at various local and national advertising agencies included work on major national and international restaurant companies. In addition to juggling traditional marketing, brand management, public relations, graphic design and copywriting for the company, Michael adds community manager to the list as the key player in bringing Fifth Group Restaurants into the social media age. Thanks in part to the 15 Facebook pages and nine Twitter accounts he maintains, he now boasts a Klout score that rivals those of world-recognized brands and he was recently named one of the “100 Foodies To Follow on Twitter.”
